Air Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather course - 40m

This course consists of Theory, pool session and open water, this course is the entry level course to give you the core skills and principles in the use of the Megalodon Closed Circuit Rebreather.

The course standards require a minimum of 8 hours (480mins) of use on the Megalodon rebreather plus theory time, the student must be 18 years old, have a minimum 60 logged dives and have an Advanced Nitrox certification (Advanced Nitrox maybe combined with this course for an additional fee).

Air Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather Crossover course

If a student already is qualified as Air Diluent CCR Diver, the student must follow all unit specific course standards. Minimum of 1 hour (60mins) confined water training to a maximum of 9m and a minimum of 3 hours (180mins) open water training to be completed over a minimum of 3 dives to a maximum of 40m.

COPIS Air Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather course

This course consists of Theory, pool session and open water, this course is the entry level course to give you the core skills and principles in the use of the Megalodon Closed Circuit Rebreather.


The course standards require a minimum of 8 hours of use on the Megalodon rebreather plus theory time, the student must be 18 years old, have a minimum 100 logged dives and have an Advanced Nitrox certification.

COPIS Mixed Gas Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather course

This is the highest level certification course for divers wishing to utilize the unit specific Closed Circuit
Rebreather for advanced mixed gas diving. The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for advanced mixed gas diving on a CCR and to develop advanced CCR diving skills appropriate to technical diving the also cover expedition styled diving and team management to give the diver the skill to be part of even run a dive expedition to a maximum 100m.

 The course standards require a minimum 100 logged hours over a minimum of 100 dives, 50% of those dives need to be deeper then 30m.

 Minimum of 7 hours (420 mins) open water training to be completed over a minimum of 7 dives including 1 equipment configuration and drills practice air diluent dive to a maximum 40 msw.

 Or if the student is qualified as a Advanced Trimix Diver then a minimum 4hours (240mins) open water training is to be completed over a minimum of  4 mixed gas decompression dives to build incrementally in no greater than fifteen 15m steps.

 Note: Maximum depth limit within the UK is 75m for training

Mixed Gas Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather Crossover course

If the student is qualified as a Mixed Gas CCR Diver or equivalent a minimum of 4 hours (240mins) open water training is to be completed over a minimum of 4 mixed gas decompression dives to build incrementally in no greater than 10m steps two dives must be deeper than 70m.

If the student crossing over has 50 logged hours logged on the unit he/she is crossing over from then they will need to complete 25 hours on the Megalodon.

Mixed Gas Diluent Closed Circuit Rebreather course - 60m

This is the intermediate level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for mixed gas diving. The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for mixed gas diving on the unit specific CCR, utilizing a mixed gas diluent containing sixteen (16%) percent or greater oxygen, and to develop intermediate CCR diving skills appropriate to technical diving to a maximum of 60m.

The course standards require a minimum 50 logged hours over a minimum 50 dives with 50% of those dives over 20m and all dives over 9m.

Minimum of 6 hours (360mins) open water training to be completed over a minimum of 6 dives including 1 equipment configuration and drills practice air diluent dive to a maximum 40m
